Joseph graduated from the China University of Political Science and Law with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature and Master’s degree in Jurisprudence.

Joseph has been working with Wang’s team since graduating from law school. He provides legal services for top Chinese entertainment companies and projects, including Huayi Brothers, Desen International Media, TIK films, Beijing People’s Art Theater, KOFIC and Alibaba Group.

Joseph has accumulated rich and extensive experience in the specialized dispute resolution mechanisms and techniques for the entertainment industry regarding both litigation and non-litigation (mediation/arbitration) services. He is also a savvy deal-maker and negotiator, and possesses a keen understanding of clients’ needs. Joseph represented NanPai SanShu (AKA, Xu Lei) in the litigation regarding the adaptation right to his “Tomb” novel series.

In his (not very copious) spare time, Joseph enjoys running, and is also an accomplished traditional Chinese painter.
